Amos's journey in the hospitality industry is marked by exceptional accomplishments and a deep passion for his craft. Growing up in Ohio, Amos developed an early interest in cooking and sustainable agriculture. He began his formal culinary education at a vocational school for culinary arts and furthered his studies at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Food and Business Leadership. This unique combination of culinary expertise and business acumen has been the cornerstone of his successful career.
Amos's professional odyssey started with a volunteer role alongside farmer Lee Jones at The Chef's Garden. He then honed his skills in esteemed restaurants across Westchester County, New York. In 2009, he joined On The Marc Events in Stamford as Executive Chef, collaborating with Marc Weber for nine years to create meticulously curated events across Fairfield, Westchester, and NYC.
His culinary expertise further flourished as Chef De Cuisine at Tribeca Rooftop + Tribeca 360° in New York City, where he managed large-scale kitchen operations, concept development, and purchasing. His next role as Executive Chef at Sharon Country Club provided an opportunity to complete his degree and gain a deeper understanding of financials and member relationships.
Recently, Amos and his family transitioned from Litchfield, CT, to Madison, NJ, eagerly embracing the next chapter of their lives. Amos's dedication, expertise, and warmth make him a standout leader in the hospitality industry.
